Here's the thing about flying. The gate changes. The time moves. The plane gets swapped. And you find out when you happen to look up at the board. Wheels Up watches all of it and tells you.

What you get.

01

Watch it fly

Add your flight and watch the plane move across a 3D globe, with a status card that tells you exactly where it is. No guessing, no refreshing. Same goes for whoever you're picking up. Keep your boarding pass with the flight so it's one tap away.

02

Know your plane

Find out what you're flying on before you board, and whether it likely has Wi-Fi, so you know whether to download your shows. Land on the other side of the world and a jet lag plan is already waiting. Show up ready, not wrecked.

03

Own your layover

Layovers are where trips fall apart. Group your flights into a trip and Wheels Up tells you if the connection is comfortable or tight, before you're running through a terminal. Share the full trip with whoever's meeting you.

Watch your friends fly

Add your friends and track their flights on your map. You get a ping when they take off, run late or land. Every country you land in earns a stamp on your Wheels Up ID. Collect them all.

Questions.

Where can I get it?

On Google Play for Android. Open the Wheels Up listing.

How much does it cost?

The price and any free trial are shown on the Google Play listing, so you can check before you install.

Is there an iPhone version?

Android only for now. iPhone isn't available, and we'll tell you if that changes.

What happens to my data?

Your flights live on your phone and in your account so they sync. Friends you accept can see your saved flights, and other members can find your profile by username. Boarding passes stay on your phone. The privacy policy has the full detail, and you can request account deletion any time.

Where does the flight data come from?

FlightAware for flight status, other sources for weather and aircraft details. Anything that's a guess, like the Wi-Fi estimate, is labelled in the app.

Will it drain my battery?

It checks rarely when your flight is weeks away and more often as it gets close, and it only alerts you when something has actually changed.

Is it affiliated with an airline?

No. Wheels Up is an independent flight tracker. It doesn't represent any airline.
